Introduction to the human body

  • Interpreting 3D specimens

  • The anatomical position and its application in medicine and study

  • Anatomical dissection, planes of view and anatomical cavities

SESSION 2

​The cranial & vertebral cavity

​​

  • Structure of the cranium

  • Brain anatomy and structure

  • Lobes of the brain

  • Full brain dissection

  • Full spinal cord dissection

  • Cranial meninges 

  • Cerebral spinal fluid & ventricles

  • Optic nerve examination

  • Eye dissection, lens, retina and humorous

  • Larynx dissection

​Our team undertake routine cadaveric dissections as part of their ongoing CPD, through our strong partnership with the NHS we utilise cadaveric training labs to ensure our team keep their anatomy dissection skills razor sharp.

The thoracic cavity

  • Oesophagus examination

  • Liver & Gall Bladder dissection

  • Neutralisation, Brunners glands

  • Duodenum, Jejenum, Illiium

  • Appendix and large intestine

  • Defecation
